The fairytales, the lingo, the lyrics, the gut feelings, the curiosity, the itch, the clearing the throat, the sniffing out the truth, what’s funny, what arouses you, what tastes/smells/looks/feels/sounds good to the unfiltered you… are all pieces to the big puzzle.

The conditioning of this paradigm wants us to think ‘logic’ is supreme. You’re fine to keep believing that if you’re fine with where logic has taken us so far and if you enjoy the way our present paradigm is. Imho, that kind of programming not only keeps our minds but our beingnesses closed. It’s how they keep us from our own power to instead think “I’m just being crazy” so that we steer clear of our own senses and ability to intuit and create.

The key is training and practicing listening to our guts, using our imaginations to create ‘nonsensical’ art (music, visual art, dancing, singing, poetry etc), valuing feelings and emotions as information, leaning into bodily senses and responses, becoming more aware of synchronicities, following your own train of consciousness to get to the unfiltered Self, and most of all taking YourSelf seriously because you are worthy of doing so.

The shape of my birthday came to mind earlier this week see pictures above). I held out pen and paper to let it come out in visual form and did multiple iterations until it felt most accurate. (This is an exercise I do with clients to help tap into knowledge, imagination and wisdom. It’s pretty profound and fun to see what lies dormant sometimes!) When I got home I drew it again and let the colors come in. Then, in my dream I got more insight about a past/future life that made the shape make even more sense.

What are your practices and portals for tapping into True Self?
